Rocky Horror sequel to be celebrated with live performances at BFI Southbank screening
The 35th anniversary of Rocky Horror sequel Shock Treatment is to be marked at an event in which performers will sing show numbers live while the film is shown in the background.
Science Fiction Double Feature Picture Show takes place at BFI Southbank on October 29 and will include screenings of both The Rocky Horror Picture Show and its follow-up, Shock Treatment.
Following the screenings, at which performers from the UK, Europe and the US will sing while the films are shown, cast members from Shock Treatment will take part in a panel discussion. Shock Treatment’s cast includes Richard O’Brien and Ruby Wax, but those attending the panel discussion have not been confirmed.
In the run-up to the screenings there will also be a convention, at which fans will be able to meet cast members and attend a series of panel discussions.
