Rafe Spall to join NT Hedda Gabler cast
Rafe Spall is to join the cast of Hedda Gabler at the National Theatre, which stars the previously announced Ruth Wilson.
Spall will perform opposite Wilson and other announced cast members including Chukwudi Iwuji, Sinead Matthews and Kyle Soller.
The Ibsen play has been adapted by Patrick Marber and will be directed in the Lyttelton by Ivo van Hove.
It runs from December 5, with press night on December 12.
The show, which is designed by Jan Versweyveld, then continues in repertoire and will be broadcast by NT Live on March 9.
The production has costume design by An D’Huys and sound design by Tom Gibbons.
