NYT appoints producer Peter Clayton to board
Theatre producer Peter Clayton has joined the board of the National Youth Theatre in the company’s 60th anniversary year.
To mark its anniversary, the theatre company has also launched Photo 365, which will see it publish a picture from its archive every day during the next year.
Clayton joins a board that includes Sarah Solemani, Janet Ellis and Dawn Airey, who is chair.
He said: “I have watched from afar the extraordinary and inspiring work that NYT does with young people and I cannot wait to be more involved.”
Clayton, whose producing credits include the tour of musical Shrek, is also a board member of the Criterion Theatre in the West End and of Chichester Festival Theatre.
