Motown the Musical extends into 2017
Motown the Musical has extended its run at the Shaftesbury Theatre until February 2017.
The show was previously booking until October, but will now run in the West End until at least February 18, 2017.
With music and lyrics from the Motown songbook, the musical’s book is written by Motown founder Berry Gordy and it stars Cedric Neal and Lucy St Louis.
The show is currently in previews, with press night on March 8.
It is directed by Charles Randolph-Wright, with choreography by Patricia Wilcox and Warren Adams, and design by David Korins.
Motown the Musical premiered on Broadway in 2014.
It is produced in the West End by Gordy, Kevin McCollum, Doug Morris and Adam Spiegel.
