Kinks musical Sunny Afternoon to close

Kinks musical Sunny Afternoon is to close in London after more than two years at the Harold Pinter Theatre.

The musical will close on October 29, with a UK tour beginning in August at the Manchester Opera House.

It originally opened in October 2014 and won an Olivier award in 2015 for best new musical.

The show is produced by Sonia Friedman Productions with Tulchin Bartner Productions, Greg Ripley-Duggan for Hampstead Theatre Productions, Tanya Link Productions, Just for Laughs Theatricals/Glass Half Full Productions and Rupert Gavin.
