Jesus Christ Superstar to return to Regent’s Park in 2017

Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre’s production of Jesus Christ Superstar is to return to the venue next year.

The production, which won best musical at this year’s Evening Standard Awards, will be revived at Regent’s Park for 41 performances from August 11 to September 16, 2017.

The Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice musical is directed by Regent’s Park artistic director Timothy Sheader, with choreography by Drew McOnie and design by Tom Scutt.

Lighting is by Lee Curran, sound by Nick Lidster for Autograph and musical direction by Tom Deering.

Casting is yet to be announced.
