Immersive Trainspotting show to transfer to the Vaults
The stage adaptation of Trainspotting is to run at the Vaults in Waterloo to celebrate the film’s 20th anniversary.
The immersive production of Irvine Welsh’s original story – adapted by Harry Gibson – will run at the Vaults for 11 weeks from November in a newly created performance space.
It follows two seasons at the King’s Head Theatre in north London, and the transfer marks the first collaboration between the King’s Head and Seabright Productions.
Directed by King’s Head artistic director Adam Spreadbury-Maher alongside Greg Esplin, who also appears in the show, the production features Rachael Anderson, Chris Dennis, Calum Barbour, Michael Lockerbie, Erin Marshall and Gavin Ross.
The King’s Head and In Your Face co-production is presented by James Seabright.
It runs from November 3 to January 15, with press night on November 8.
