Denise Van Outen pulls out of musical Big
Denise Van Outen has pulled out of forthcoming musical Big.
The show, based on the film of the same name, is due to open at the Theatre Royal Plymouth on November 5. It was set to star Van Outen alongside Jay McGuinness, Diana Vickers and Gary Wilmot.
However, a statement from the producers said Van Outen had pulled out due to “unforeseen circumstances”.
Jessica Martin will now take on the role that Van Outen was due to play.
The show has a book by John Weidman, with music by David Shire and lyrics by Richard Maltby.
It is produced by Michael Rose and Idili Theatricals in association with the Bord Gais Energy Theatre in Dublin, where the musical tours to.
