Amanda Holden to play Fairy Godmother in Palladium panto Cinderella
Amanda Holden has been cast as The Fairy Godmother in the Palladium’s festive pantomime Cinderella.
The Qdos Entertainment production marks the first time the West End theatre has hosted a pantomime since 1987.
Holden said: “I cannot wait to spread my Fairy Godmother dust over the festive season in this huge production at one of the most iconic theatres in the world”.
Holden joins Paul O’Grady, Lee Mead and Julian Clary in the pantomime, who were announced as cast members in May.
Cinderella will run at the London Palladium from December 9 to January 15, 2017.
It will be directed by Michael Harrison and Andrew Wright, the latter of whom will also choreograph the show.
Further casting is yet to be announced.
