Adam Garcia and Jenny Seagrove cast in UK premiere of The Exorcist
Adam Garcia has been cast in the forthcoming UK premiere of The Exorcist, alongside Jenny Seagrove and Peter Bowles.
Based on William Peter Blatty’s novel, and adapted by John Pielmeier, the play will run from October 21 to November 5.
Garcia will play Father Damien Karras, with Seagrove playing Chris, the mother of Regan.
Bowles will play Father Merrin.
The show is directed by Sean Mathias, who has just directed No Man’s Land in the West End.
Other cast members for the Birmingham Repertory Theatre production include Clare Louise Connolly as Regan.
The theatre said the show is not suitable for those under the age of 18.
It is produced in association with Bill Kenwright.
The show is designed by Anna Fleischsle, with lightning by Tim Mitchell and illusions by Ben Hart.
