1984 extends West End run by eight weeks

The West End production of 1984 has extended its run by eight weeks to October.

Initially booking to September 3, the show will now play until October 29.

Directed by Robert Icke and Duncan Macmillan with Daniel Raggett, the run marks the third time it has played in the West End.

Press night for the production is June 28.

George Orwell’s novel is adapted by Icke and Macmillan and produced by Sonia Friedman Productions and Eleanor Lloyd Productions
in association with Rupert Gavin, JFL Theatricals, 1001 Nights, Ramin Sabi, Scott M Delman, Zeilinger Productions and Charna Productions.
