Outgoing Whatsonstage editor Theo Bosanquet is to join PR company the Corner Shop.

Bosanquet, who is leaving the theatre website after seven years, will take up the role of digital manager for the Corner Shop, overseeing the company’s online PR campaign work.

Corner Shop managing director Clair Chamberlain said: “As a company we have always worked hard to ensure that the needs of digital media are incorporated into our work as a matter of course.

“With Theo’s appointment, we are realising an ambition to put this at the forefront of our offering to clients, more closely reflecting the contemporary face of the media and feeding its ever-growing hunger for arts coverage.”

Bosanquet will be succeeded at Whatsonstage by Daisy Bowie-Sell, who joins the website from her post as deputy theatre editor of Time Out.
