Tom Bateman, Hadley Fraser and Jessie Buckley are among the cast of Kenneth Branagh’s productions of The Winter’s Tale and Harlequinade.

They will be joined by Jack Colgrave Hirst, Michael Pennington, Zoe Rainey and Miranda Raison, while John Shrapnel, Kathryn Wilder and Jimmy Yuill will also feature in the productions.

As previously announced, Branagh will star in both plays, while Judi Dench will play Paulina in The Winter’s Tale.

Announcing the casting, Branagh said: “This is a formidable group of actors – they combine fantastic experience in Shakespeare and comedy, with a youthful energy and brilliance that I’m excited to welcome to our season.”

The two shows will play in repertory at the Garrick Theatre from October 17 to January 16, 2016 and will be directed by Branagh and Rob Ashford.

They form part of an inaugural season of five shows from the Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company that will run at the Garrick from October this year until November 2016.

The season is produced by Fiery Angel.
