Theatre Ad Infinitum’s Odyssey to receive London premiere at Vault festival
Theatre Ad Infinitum will stage the London premiere of its production of Odyssey as part of the Vault festival.
The theatre company’s one-man show will run from February 18 to March 1 and stars George Mann, who plays a variety of characters from Homer’s story.
Mann also penned the show with Nir Paldi, who directs. Both are co-artistic directors of the theatre company.
Theatre Ad Infinitum’s Odyssey received the best solo performance prize at the Stage Awards for Acting Excellence at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2009.
Vault is a six-week festival that runs in tunnels under Waterloo and opens on January 28.
The festival of live music and perormance has also announced that dining company Forza Win will transform part of the tunnels into a “blue coat Italian restaurant reminiscent of backstreet Bermondsey in days gone by”.
