Rosalie Craig leads Manchester cast of Damon Albarn musical Wonder.land

Rosalie Craig is to star in Wonder.land at Manchester International Festival.

She will be joined in Damon Albarn’s musical by Sam Archer, Lois Chimimba, Luke Fetherston and Hal Fowler, as well as Rob Compton, Ivan de Freitas, Lorraine Graham and Anna Francolini.

The show will also star Paul Hilton, Karina Hind, Holly James, Sam Mackay, Daisy Maywood and Enyi Okoronkwo, with David Page, Golda Rosheuvel, Cydney Uffindell-Phillips and Witney White completing the cast.

Following its Manchester International Festival premiere in the Palace Theatre – where it will run from June 29 to July 12 – Wonder.land will transfer to the National Theatre, where it will run in the Olivier from November to April, 2016.

Casting for the NT dates has not yet been announced.

Directed by Rufus Norris, the show has music by Damon Albarn and a book and lyrics by Moira Buffini.

In addition to the previously announced creative team, Katrina Lindsay will be costume designer for the production, and 59 Productions will be in charge of projections.

Wonder.land is co-produced by Manchester International Festival and the National Theatre.
