Play That Goes Wrong team launches new West End show

The Comedy About a Bank Robbery will open at the Criterion in March

A new comedy by the creators of The Play That Goes Wrong is to run in the West End next year.

The Comedy About a Bank Robbery by Mischief Theatre will run in the Criterion from March 31, with press night on April 14.

Written by Mischief Theatre’s Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer and Henry Shields, it will be directed by Mark Bell alongside members of the company.

The show will have design by David Farley and costume by Roberto Surace.

It will be the third Mischief Theatre show to open in the West End since 2014. The Play That Goes Wrong continues its run at the Duchess Theatre, while Peter Pan Goes Wrong opens at the Apollo Theatre on December 4.

The Comedy About a Bank Robbery will be produced in the West End by Kenny Wax and Stage Presence.
