Laura Pitt-Pulford and Alex Gaumond to star in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers at Regent’s Park
Laura Pitt-Pulford and Alex Gaumond will play the leading roles in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers at the Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre – one of several casting announcements the venue has made.
The musical – put together by the same creative team as the venue’s 2013 production of The Sound of Music – opens on July 23, and will run until August 29.
Elsewhere in the previously announced season, Janie Dee will star in The Seagull alongside Sabrina Bartlett and Matthew Tennyson, with further casting still to be announced. Chekhov’s play will run at the theatre from June 19 to July 11, with a press night on June 24.
The theatre’s production of Peter Pan will star Hiran Abeysekera in the title role, in addition to David Birrell, Beverly Rudd and George Bukhari. The play runs from May 15 to June 14, with a press night on May 21.
The show will also star Kae Alexander, Patrick Osborne and Thomas Dennis, as well as Rachel Donovan, Eben Figueiredo, Thomas Pickles and Richard James-Neale.
