Kate Fleetwood to lead cast of Maria Friedman’s High Society
Kate Fleetwood has been cast in High Society at the Old Vic, which will also star Barbara Flynn and Jamie Parker.
The Maria Friedman-directed musical will also star Rupert Young and Annabel Scholey, and will feature musician Joe Stilgoe performing music with the High Society Band.
Tom Pye will design the production, which will feature lighting design by Peter Mumford, choreography by Nathan M Wright, orchestration by Christopher Walker and casting by Maggie Lunn.
First announced in November, High Society runs at the Old Vic from April 30 to August 22, with a press night on May 14. It will be the final production performed as part of the venue’s in-the-round season.
Further casting is yet to be announced.
