Hospital Club awards nominations open
Public nominations are open for the Hospital Club’s hClub 100 Awards.
The annual awards ceremony, which is made up of 10 categories and is this year partnering with the Creative Industries Council, celebrates “the most innovative, influential people working across the UK’s creative industries”.
The winners comprise 10 people in each of the categories, which include theatre and performance, publishing, film, broadcast and fashion.
Other categories for the event, now in its seventh year, are advertising, marketing and PR, art and design, gaming and rising stars.
Last year’s theatre winners included Young Vic artistic director David Lan, producer Sonia Friedman and director Robert Icke.
A judging panel chooses nine of the 10 winners, with a final winner picked by public vote from a shortlist. The judges for the theatre and performance category are The Stage’s editor Alistair Smith and associate editor Mark Shenton, Nimax chief executive Nica Burns, and Punchdrunk’s founder and artistic director Felix Barrett.
Public nominations are open until June 28 and the winners will be announced at an awards show at the Hospital Club in central London on October 1.
