by -

Daisy Bowie-Sell has been appointed editor of Whatsonstage.

Bowie-Sell will leave her post as deputy theatre editor of Time Out after two years to join the theatre website, where she takes up her post in October.

She said: “It’s a pivotal time for theatre journalism in the UK with the drive towards digital and online media. As the leading UK website dedicated to theatre nationwide, this role is a brilliant opportunity to help set the agenda for theatre journalism.”

She replaces Theo Bosanquet, who leaves Whatsonstage after seven years.
