Cynthia Erivo and Clarke Peters have joined the cast of the upcoming concert adaptation of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.

The actors will join previously announced stars Jonathan Groff, Hannah Waddingham and Clive Rowe in the one-off London show, which takes place at the Royal Festival Hall on May 19.

Directed by Jonathan Butterell with musical direction by Mike Dixon, the concert will be produced by Elliot Davis and Senbla.

Senbla managing director Ollie Rosenblatt and Davis said in a joint statement: “Being able to announce Clarke Peters and Cynthia Erivo alongside the already announced Jonathan Groff, Hannah Waddingham and Clive Rowe makes this concert presentation of How To Succeed a must-see musical event.”

They added: “We could not wish for a finer ensemble of talent to bring this wonderful score and witty book to life.”

How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying is part of a series of concerts produced by Davis and Senbla, which will include George and Ira Gershwin’s Of Thee I Sing at the Royal Festival Hall on July 31.
