Ben Forster and Kimberley Walsh have been cast in the West End transfer of Elf.

Forster reprises his role as Buddy in the musical – which originally played at Plymouth Theatre Royal and Dublin’s Bord Gais Energy Theatre in 2014 – while former Girls Aloud star Walsh joins the cast for the first time as Jovie.

The West End staging will also see Joe McGann and Jessica Martin return to their original roles, alongside Jennie Dale, Mark McKerracher and Graham Lappin.

It was confirmed earlier this week that Elf will run at the Dominion Theatre from October 24 to January 2, 2016, with a press night on November 5.

Further casting is yet to be announced.
