X Factor’s Lloyd Daniels to join Danielle Hope in Joseph tour
Lloyd Daniels, a finalist in the 2009 series of The X Factor, will make his musical theatre debut in a tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
Written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, the show will also star Danielle Hope, who won the BBC series Over the Rainbow, leading to her starring in The Wizard of Oz at the London Palladium. She most recently appeared in Les Miserables as Eponine and will play the Narrator in the tour of Joseph.
Daniels will play the title character and will be joined by Matt Lapinkas as Pharaoh. Lapinkas played Anthony Moon in EastEnders.
Produced by Bill Kenwright, the musical will open at the Theatre Royal in Windsor on July 23, before touring until November 29, when it ends at the Wycombe Swan in High Wycombe.
It will appear at venues including the Empire Theatre in Liverpool and the Palace Theatre in Manchester.
