Gods and Monsters, a stage adaptation of Christopher Bram’s novel Father of Frankenstein, will receive its world premiere at the Southwark Playhouse next year.
The book has been adapted by Russell Labey, who also directs.
Danielle Tarento is producing the show, which will have set and costume designs by Jason Denvir, lighting by Mike Robertson and sound by John Chambers.
It runs from February 5 to March 7 with press night on February 10.
The show forms part of Southwark Playhouse’s 2015 spring season, which also includes the world premiere of The Cutting of the Cloth, a play by Michael Hastings.
Directed by Tricia Thorns, the play is produced by Two’s Company and runs from March 11 to April 4, with press night on March 13.
The season also includes Lorca: Amor en el Jardin, produced by Theatre Sans Frontieres and directed by John Cobb.
It has set and costumes by Neil Murray and lighting by Mark Pritchard. The play runs from April 14 to April 25, with press night on April 16.
