Tiata Fahodzi names new artistic director
Tiata Fahodzi has named Natalie Ibu as its new artistic director.
She joins the British African theatre company – now in residence at Watford Palace Theatre – from her previous role as creative producer for Derby Theatre’s In Good Company programme.
Ibu said: “Tiata Fahodzi has played a vital part in my development, both personal and professional: from brokering a conversation with my own identity and the world as an audience member to facilitating me directing challenging work.”
“It will be an honour to lead this spirited and inspirational company into the future,” she added.
Ibu will take up the role in December.
