SOLT launches half price ticket initiative for the West End
TKTS, the theatre ticket booth operated by the Society of London Theatre, will be offering half price tickets to 10 West End shows on Wednesdays throughout July.
West End Wednesdays will allow audiences to buy on-the-day tickets at half price from the TKTS booth in Leicester Square.
Beginning on July 2 and running for five weeks, the initiative will see tickets available for The 39 Steps, Bakersfield Mist, The Commitments, Daytona, Ghost Stories, Jeeves and Wooster in Perfect Nonsense, Let It Be, Once, The Pajama Game and The Woman in Black.
Emma De Souza, head of media and marketing at SOLT, said: “The idea to launch a new promotion was to introduce new theatre audiences to TKTS and its history, to get them visiting the booth and seeing the benefits of buying your theatre tickets in person from our experienced staff.”
