by -

Shakespeare in Love, which is running at London’s Noel Coward Theatre, has extended its booking period to January 10, 2015, releasing almost 76,000 extra tickets.

The production, a stage adaptation of the 1998 film, was previously booking until October 25.

Based on the screenplay by Marc Norman and Tom Stoppard, the play has been adapted for the stage by Billy Elliot writer Lee Hall, and stars Tom Bateman as Will Shakespeare and Lucy Briggs-Owen as Viola De Lesseps.

It is directed by Declan Donnellan and designed by Nick Ormerod.
