Peter Polycarpou and Gary Wilmot join The Pajama Game cast
Peter Polycarpou and Gary Wilmot are to join the cast of The Pajama Game when it runs at the Shaftesbury Theatre from May.
The production is a transfer of Chichester Festival Theatre’s staging from last year, and will see Polycarpou reprise his role as Vernon Hines.
He will play the role when the show opens on May 2 until June 2, after which Wilmot will take on the part.
The cast of the show will also include Colin Stinton, who reprises his role as Hasler.
All three join the previously announced Joanna Riding and Michael Xavier in the show, which is directed by Richard Eyre.
The musical is written by Richard Adler and Jerry Ross and has choreography by Stephen Mear.
Design is by Tim Hatley, lighting by Howard Harrison, sound by Paul Groothuis, with musical supervision by Gareth Valentine.
The Pajama Game begins previewing on May 2, and runs until September 13. Press night is May 13.
