The Orange Tree Theatre’s artistic director Paul Miller has announced the casting for his inaugural production, The Widowing of Mrs Holroyd.

The cast includes Ellie Piercy as Lizzie Holroyd, whose credits include Much Ado About Nothing at the Royal Exchange in Manchester and Romeo and Juliet at Shakespeare’s Globe.

She stars alongside Gyuri Sarossy, Polly Hemingway and Jordan Misfud. The cast also includes Heather Johnson, Maggie O’Brien and Jamie Satterthwaite.

Miller was appointed at the end of last year and took over as artistic director of the Orange Tree earlier this month.

The Widowing of Mrs Holroyd runs at the Orange Tree in Richmond from September 3 to October 4, with press night on September 5.

It will have design by Simon Daw and lighting by John Harris.
