Laura Pitt-Pulford and Michael French cast in Curve’s The Sound of Music
Laura Pitt-Pulford and Michael French are to lead the cast of The Sound of Music at Leicester’s Curve.
The show, which will mark Paul Kerryson’s last as artistic director at the venue, will have choreography by Drew McOnie and will also feature Emma Harrold, Mark Inscoe, Lucy Schaufer, Annie Wensak and Jack Wilcox in the cast.
Pitt-Pulford, who will play Maria, has previously appeared in Piaf and Hello, Dolly! at Curve, as well as The Light Princess at the National Theatre.
French is known for his work on EastEnders, playing David Wicks, and has appeared in shows such as Les Miserables.
Schaufer will play Mother Abbess, having previously appeared at Curve in The Light in the Piazza.
The Rodgers and Hammerstein show has musical direction by Ben Atkinson and lighting by Philip Gladwell.
It runs from November 28 to January 17, with press night on December 3.
