John Gordon Sinclair and James Lance to join West End’s Perfect Nonsense
John Gordon Sinclair and James Lance are to take over as Jeeves and Wooster in the West End production of Perfect Nonsense.
They replace Robert Webb and Mark Heap from June 30 and will also play the characters in the touring production, which runs from September this year.
Lance, whose credits include the TV shows Teachers and Smack the Pony, will play Wooster. Sinclair, who most recently starred in the West End production of The Ladykillers, takes the role of Jeeves.
They will be joined by Robert Goodale, who co-wrote Perfect Nonsense with his brother, David. He will play Seppings.
Perfect Nonsense is booking at the Duke of York’s Theatre until September 20. Its tour begins on September 24 at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre in Guildford and is currently scheduled to have its last show on December 6 at the Theatre Royal in Bath.
Perfect Nonsense is directed by Sean Foley and produced by Mark Goucher and Mark Rubinstein.
