Haydn Gwynne, Jerome Pradon and Anna Skellern will join the previously announced Tamsin Greig in the UK premiere of Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, which opens in London in December.

Gwynne most recently starred as Margaret Thatcher in The Audience at the Gielgud Theatre, and has also appeared in Billy Elliot at the Victoria Palace Theatre and Company at the Donmar Warehouse.

Pradon’s credits include Whistle Down the Wind at the Aldwych Theatre and Les Miserables at the Queen’s Theatre, while Skellern’s theatre credits include Holding the Man at Trafalgar Studios and One Night in November at the Belgrade Theatre, Coventry.

The musical, an adaptation of Pedro Almodovar’s 1988 film, will run at the Playhouse Theatre from December 18 to May 9, 2015, with press night on January 12.

Written by David Yazbek and Jeffrey Lane, the writing team behind Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, the adaptation will be directed by Bartlett Sher and is produced by Howard Panter for ATG.
