Ghosts to be screened in UK cinemas
Ghosts starring Lesley Manville is to be screened in cinemas across the UK and Ireland this June.
The Almeida Theatre production, which is directed and adapted by Richard Eyre from Henrik Ibsen’s play, will be broadcast in more than 200 cinemas on June 26.
It originally ran at London’s Almeida Theatre in September before transferring to the Trafalgar Studios in January.
The version of Ghosts that will be broadcast in June was filmed during its run at the Trafalgar Studios.
It forms part of the West End Theatre Series, which is a collection of theatre productions filmed live in high definition by Digital Theatre – the company that films shows for watching online – and is distributed by CinemaLive.
