West End musical From Here to Eternity is to close even earlier than originally announced, with the producers confirming it will now shut in March.

In November last year producers said that the show, written by Stuart Brayson and Tim Rice, was to close on April 26.

However, they have now said the production will end its run at the Shaftesbury Theatre on March 29, following a six month stint in the West End.

From Here to Eternity stars Darius Campbell and Rebecca Thornhill and is based on the book by James Jones.

Directed by Tamara Harvey, the musical is produced by Rice and Lee Menzies for Eternity Productions Limited.

Chichester Festival Theatre’s production of The Pajama Game will run at the venue from April.
