Danielle Hope leads new tour of The Sound of Music
Danielle Hope is to lead the cast of a new touring production of The Sound of Music.
Hope will play Maria von Trapp in the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, which will open at the Churchill Theatre in Bromley on January 15 before embarking on a national tour until August.
Coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the 1965 film, the tour will be produced by Bill Kenwright and directed by Martin Connor, with choreography by Bill Deamer and musical direction by David Steadman.
Further casting is yet to be announced.
