Will Young is to reprise the role of the Emcee in Cabaret as part of a major UK tour.

The tour of the Kander and Ebb musical, directed by Rufus Norris, will open at the New Wimbledon Theatre on August 28.

It will then visit venues such as Liverpool’s Empire Theatre, the Manchester Opera House and the New Theatre in Hull, before concluding at the Brighton Centre in December.

Norris’ production is choreographed by Javier de Frutos and the tour is being produced by Bill Kenwright.

Young played the part of the Emcee when the production ran in London at the Savoy Theatre last year.
