Traverse production of The Salon Project filmed for online arts site Hibrow
The Traverse Theatre’s co-production of The Salon Project forms part of the 2013 line-up for video on demand site Hibrow.
Hibrow was launched online last year and is the brainchild of filmmaker Don Boyd.
It allows users to access entire productions and performances from a variety of organisations at www.hibrow.tv and is free to use.
As part of its programming for this year, The Salon Project, a co-production between the Traverse and Untitled Projects, has been filmed and will be made available on the site.
According to Hibrow, the recording of the show “takes its audience on a thought-provoking journey that remains outside time and space”.
New content for this year also includes LOL, a dance piece conceived and directed by Luca Silvestrini, artistic director of dance company Protein.
Boyd said: “We created Hibrow to give everybody the chance to explore the opportunities made possible by digital media and to engage with contemporary arts projects created by top artistic talent with state of the art technologies.”
Hibrow’s collaborators include Simon Callow and Tilda Swinton.
