To Sir With Love adaptation to star Matthew Kelly
Matthew Kelly is to appear in the world premiere of a new adaptation of E R Braithwaite’s book To Sir With Love.
Kelly will play Florian in the show, which has been adapted by Ayub Khan Din, the writer of play and British film East is East.
It is a co-production between the Touring Consortium Theatre Company and the Royal and Derngate theatre in Northampton and runs from September 26 to November 30.
Directed by Hull Truck Theatre artistic director Mark Babych, the play opens at the Royal and Derngate before visiting other venues including Cardiff’s New Theatre, Edinburgh’s Kings Theatre and the Orchard Theatre in Dartford.
The production has design by Mike Britten, lighting by Johanna Towns and choreography by Nick Winston.
