Siobhan Dillon, who was a finalist on the BBC series How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?, is to join Will Young in the upcoming tour of Cabaret.

The tour of Rufus Norris’ production, which most recently ran at the Savoy Theatre in the West End last year, opens on August 28 at the New Wimbledon Theatre.

Young will play the Emcee and Dillon takes the role of Sally Bowles.

She originally played the part of Sally Bowles in a previous touring production of the Kander and Ebb musical in 2009.

Other cast members for Rufus Norris’ version include Lyn Paul as Fraulein Schneider, Matt Rawle, who will play Cliff, and Linal Haft, who will take the part of Herr Schultz.

It is produced by Bill Kenwright and has choreography by Javier De Drutos, with design by Katrina Lindsay.
