London Wonderground returns with new circus show from Cantina team
London Wonderground will return to the South Bank this summer, headlined by a new show from the creators of last year’s Cantina.
Limbo – another mix of cabaret, circus and acrobatics – will run from May 7. The London Wonderground festival will run for five months until September 29. It will again be co-produced by Underbelly Productions and the Southbank Centre. Limbo is a co-production with Strut & Fret Production House.
Scott Maidment, director of Limbo and Strut & Fret said: “I’m really excited to bring together this international array of renowned performers and outstanding technical minds to present a thrillingly unique hour of illusion and fun. It’s a delight to be able to share this new production with London audiences after its sell out opening season in Australia”.
The show, which has magic effects by Paul Kieve, will premiere at the Adelaide Festival this month before transferring to London Wonderground’s Spiegeltent.
