Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre is to bring back its production of To Kill a Mockingbird next summer.

The show will run at the venue from August 28 to September 13, 2014 before touring the UK.

Adapted by Christopher Sergel from Harper Lee's novel, the production will again be directed by Regent’s Park artistic director Timothy Sheader.

To Kill a Mockingbird opened this year’s summer programme at the venue and ran from May 16 to June 15.

More than 180,000 people have attended the theatre’s 2013 season so far, making it the venue’s most successful programme to date. In 2011, 140,000 people attended, which was previously the highest attended season.

Casting for next year’s show and UK tour dates have yet to be announced.

The tour is being produced by Regent's Park Theatre, Fiery Angel, Adam Spiegel and William Village.
