Keith Chegwin to star in The Nutcracker on Ice at the London Palladium
Keith Chegwin is to star in The Nutcracker on Ice at the London Palladium this October.
Chegwin will appear alongside Olga Sharutenko, with whom he appeared on ITV’s Dancing on Ice, and the show will open on October 24, with press night on October 25.
It will have 14 performances and is staged by the Imperial Ice Stars.
Artistic director Tony Mercer has choreographed the production with Maxim Staviski.
Mercer said: “The art form of ice dance lends itself beautifully to this well-loved tale.”
The production features sets from designer Eamon D’Arcy and costumes by Elena Predvodeteleva.
It is produced by Mercer and Lunchbox Theatrical Productions.
