Jo Brand makes panto debut alongside West End stars

Jo Brand is to make her pantomime debut by starring in Aladdin at the New Wimbledon Theatre this Christmas.

She will appear as the Genie alongside Matthew Kelly, who will perform as Widow Twanky.

Oliver Thornton, best known for creating the West End role of Felicia in Priscilla Queen of the Desert, will appear as Aladdin.

Meanwhile David Bedella, who has performed the role of Satan in Jerry Springer – The Opera, has been cast as Abanazar.

Street dance troupe Flawless will also feature in the show as the Peking Police Force.

The pantomime will run from December 6 to January 12, 2014. It is being produced by First Family Entertainment.
