Honeysuckle Weeks to star in Melanie Marnich’s These Shining Lives
Honeysuckle Weeks is to star in the UK premiere of Melanie Marnich’s play These Shining Lives.
The play is the inaugural production at the Park Theatre, which will open in Finsbury Park, north London, this May.
Joining Weeks will be Charity Wakefield and Alec Newman.
The play will be directed by Loveday Ingram and designed by Tim Shortall.
It will have lighting design by Rob Casey, sound design by Theo Holloway and projection design by Vic Craven.
Park Theatre artistic director Jez Bond said: “Our journey to the opening of Park Theatre began in 2009, when we discovered a vacant office building just by Finsbury Park tube station. This area is one of the most culturally engaged parts of the capital and yet, until now, not served by its own professional theatre.”
These Shining Lives runs from May 8 to June 9, with press night on May 15.
