Donmar’s The Weir to move into West End
The Donmar Warehouse production of The Weir by Conor McPherson is to transfer to Wyndham’s Theatre next year.
All members of the original cast – Ardal O’Hanlon, Risteárd Cooper, Brian Cox, Dervla Kirwan and Peter McDonald – will reprise their roles.
The play is directed by Josie Rourke and marks her first West End transfer from the London venue since becoming artistic director in 2011.
It runs from January 16, 2014, with press night on January 22.
The Weir is being produced in the West End by the Donmar Warehouse, Playful Productions and Arielle Tepper Madover.
