Celia Imrie to make cabaret debut in London

Celia Imrie is to make her cabaret debut at the Crazy Coqs in September.

She will present Laughing Matters at the venue, part of Brasserie Zedel in London, from September 17 to 21.

The performer will sing songs by Jerry Herman, Neil Sedaka, Carole King, Noel Coward and Charles Strouse.

She will be joined by Nick Finlow, who is the musical director of The Book of Mormon, on piano.

The show is being directed by Fidelis Morgan and choreographed by Steven Harris.

Meanwhile, the Crazy Coqs will also host Barb Jungr’s show, Here Comes the Night, from September 3 to 7.

Jungr will perform numbers by Hank Williams, Bruce Springsteen and Leonard Cohen.

Musical theatre performer Dave Willets will also appear at the venue from September 10 to 12. He will sing songs from West End and Broadway musicals.
