Suranne Jones to star in revival of Beautiful Thing at the Arts Theatre
Suranne Jones is to star in a revival of Jonathan Harvey’s play Beautiful Thing in April next year.
The production is being staged to mark the 20th anniversary of the play and will be directed by Nikolai Foster.
It will play at the Arts Theatre from April 13 until May 25, with press night on April 17.
Following its run in London the play will embark on a UK tour, visiting Liverpool, Leeds and Brighton.
Harvey’s play premiered at the Bush Theatre in 1993, before transferring to the Donmar Warehouse and then the Duke of York’s theatre.
The revival will have design by Colin Richmond. It is produced by Tom O’Connell for QNQ Ltd.
