Kander and Ebb’s Steel Pier to get European premiere at Union Theatre
John Kander and Fred Ebb’s musical Steel Pier will receive its European premiere next month, when it plays at the Union Theatre.
The musical, which made its Broadway debut in 1997, will be directed by Paul Taylor-Mills and choreographed by Richard Jones.
The cast will include Sarah Galbraith, who played Christine in The Phantom of the Opera in Las Vegas.
Steel Pier’s story is loosely based on the film They Shoot Horses Don’t They?.
It will run at the Union Theatre from October 31 until November 24.
