Glyndwr Jones to become CDET director
Glyndwr Jones has been appointed director of the Council for Dance Education and Training, and will replace Sean Williams later this year.
Jones is currently head of qualifications and standards at Trinity College in London, where he has been based for more than 11 years.
He commented: “I am delighted to be joining CDET. The combination of challenges and opportunities we currently face is exciting, if substantial in complexity. I relish the prospect of collaborating with colleagues and our membership to keep dance and musical theatre training central to education policy and arts funding nationwide.”
Williams is due to leave CDET in August after nine years in post and Jones will take up the role on September 3.
