Tom Chambers and Summer Strallen to star in Top Hat
Tom Chambers and Summer Strallen are to star in the stage premiere of musical Top Hat this autumn.
Based on the film of the same name, Top Hat will feature Chambers and Strallen as Dale Tremont and Jerry Travers. Martin Ball and Vivien Parry have also been cast in the show, which follows tap dancer Travers.
Top Hat will run at Milton Keynes Theatre from August 16 before touring to a number of venues including the Lowry and Edinburgh Playhouse. It is expected to transfer to the West End in spring 2012.
Top Hat will be directed by Matthew White and choreographed by Bill Deamer. It is produced by Kenny Wax, with partners Lee Menzies, Stewart Lane and Bonnie Comley.
